A beloved hog bristle brush developed a crack in the varnish close to the ferrule, the final insult to my collection of brushes that need repairs. Today I took the time to repair all my brushes, re-glueing ferrules and nipping stray hair. For the varnish repair, I searched my stock room and hit upon the nail varnish with glitter.
